3 Stars Not bad but could be better.
They do what they advertise: providing wireless headphone and headset capability in one device. They will pair with your phone and one other device (ipod/computer). Audio quality is decent for what they are. I can wear them for about an hour before getting uncomfortable. They will stay in place during exercise.

On the downside, the rubber ear plugs are not sealing canal phones, so they provide poor isolation. Bluetooth tends to break up a lot, making the headphone service difficult and frustrating. Bluetooth also has a little lag, enough that watching video on the ipod has a slight sync issue.

I’m pretty happy but I’m looking forward to improved versions of this product.

1 Star Not able to rate entire item-bluetooth adapter not included
I ordered the item for my iphone. Unfortunately, the bluetooth adapter which was supposed to be included was not, thus this review is limited to the headset.

The headset worked fine with my iphone phone part. However, I felt the headset did not fit comfortably at all. It was awkward around my ears, never did get into a location which it truly fit.

As with most bluetooth headsets, the sound became distorted when I walked. It also cut out a number of times when in my bag and/or when in my back pocket.

Someone needs to design a sufficient bluetooth headset that does not crackle or cut out when walking (whether the unit is in a pocket or a briefcase/bag). Very dissapointed.

5 Stars Perfect work out headphones
When ordering this product you have a tendency to be skeptical. Because you do not see anything like this in the stores. But I have to say that they work amazingly well. I am a high school coach that works out with my players and we have to worry about a lot of theft in the weight room. But I have been able to look my iPod in the desk that is in the weight room and be able to workout within 10 feet of the desk. When we are the only team in the weight room I leave it on the desk where it is not getting a blocked by the walls of the metal desk. When I do this I can hear the iPod up to twenty feet away with minor break outs.

On the fitness note it is great to be able to change songs while working out I don’t have to go over to the iPod and change it. Right there on the head set and you can change to whatever song you need to work out with. Also they fit really well into your ear, they don’t slip, or shift around. Actually you do not even feel them once they have settled into your ear. Also no wires to get caught up on, that is the greatest thing.

2 Stars Great Idea, defeats its purpose for being wireless…not good!
I was excited when i got these in the mail. Then come to find they have to be two feet from you for best performance was a real let down. Even at the gym with an armband they would still cut out if I moved my head to the left or any other sudden movements. I do not even run, I just lift weights and they still couldn’t handle even that! If they touch your skin they will cut out also! I would wait until this technology improves before purchasing a bluetooth headset. I wish I would not have spent the money on these things. Take it from me, try and test these things before buying them. Until then, just stick to a nice wired headset that guarantees performance.

2 Stars Ultimately Disappointing
I’ve owned this product and used it daily for a couple of months now. It sort of does what I want it to do, which is to allow me to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while walking without a dangling wire. Unfortunately, it has several problems that ultimately disappoint

First off is the fact that it does not fit my ears well at all–I can’t get the buds to stay in or over my ear canals. This makes the product useless for listening to music because the sound sucks without the buds jammed and held into my ear canals. The sound attained without holding the buds in is marginally good enough for spoken word, but is wholly inadequate for music. The bulkiness of the units behind both ears gets old too.

The second, more annoying problem is that there are frequent dropouts where the signal is lost. This can happen even when I’m holding the iPod/transmitter right up about a foot away from the receiver in the right earpiece. It can get very bad when walking. The range of bluetooth is supposed to be up to 30 feet, but with this unit it often seems to be 30 centimeters. It does best in the right breast pocket of a jacket–very impractical in warm weather.

The final two flaws relate to the wire that connects the two earpieces. Firstly, it is fragile and the outer sheath has already come loose where it connects to one of the earpieces. This from normal usage. Fortunately, I noticed this before the wire itself began to break and used electrician’s tape to mend it. I took the precaution of applying the tape to the as yet undamaged side as prevention. The other problem with the wire is it will stick to the back of my neck if I’m the least bit sweaty or get hung up in my jacket collar. This then yanks on the earpiece on the side opposite the direction I’m trying to turn my head. That’s annoying and uncomfortable.

I do not recommend this product, especially to those who want good-sounding music from a durable product.

One last thing–if you do choose this unit, be aware that the transmitter drains you iPod’s battery and more than double the normal rate. My experience is that you get at best 1/3 of the usual run time. The receiver/earpieces don’t give much more than a couple of hours of sound between charges.

4 Stars Works Great but Check Compatibility
I got this because I wanted something that allow me to use different headphones and headsets with my phone wirelessly, and this device really gives me a lot of options. With the on board mic and phone/mp3 player controls, the jabra allows me to use my favorite headphones with my phone. The only caveat is that the mp3 controls are not universally compatible. If you check the jabra site, you have to call for further info for most phone models.

If you decide to get the dogtag, i highly recommend these earbuds instead of the stock pair that come with the jabra. $25 right now. A steal.

5 Stars Nice bluetooth solution
Love this product. Great for those long bike rides and plane trips. Light weight around the neck or clipped on your shirt. The headphones are weird. I use the Sony’s I got a while ago. Calls are OK as long as the device is close to your mouth. Having it hang on your cheats makes the call almost impossible. Unless you like talking to your belly button. Sound quality is good. If you pair this noise canceling headphones is great for planes. Wish it were a tad louder. Great battery life and the USB charging port is pretty common.

2 Stars Sony Bluetooth headset – Excellent Sound
They sound great, but the ppower level is low. in noisy environments you cannot completely hear them.

5 Stars Wow!
These headphones are great. Not only can I have them connected to my computer’s bluetooth to listen to music and keep game sounds to myself, but I can connect it to my mobile phone too. The quality of the headphones is great (wonderful sound) and the microphone is sufficient for calls in environments without a lot of background noise.

5 Stars Sweetness
I got these headphones to play guitar hero without scaring my neighors, but ended up using them with my whole entertainment center. I hooked it up to my Blackberry, and my Iphone. Great sound, deep bass. If you like hip-hop, or electronica you will love these. I also got the Sony HWSBTA2W – Bluetooth wireless audio transmitter to connect it throught my stero and can watch movies in my bed, play my 360, or just listen to music and fold clothes. Great buy, couldn’t be happier. Also great battery life. I charged it for an hour it didn’t need to be recharged for another 10 days.

4 Stars Works as earmuffs too.
Audio, comfort, and look I give it five stars.

I’m an avid movie/TV watcher. There IS an audio delay. Watching shows like “The Office” where there is heavy dialogue it can be annoying.

I would estimate the delay is about a 1/4 of second. You won’t notice it when watching documentaries or History channel shows that cut away. Any other sound effect, the delay doesn’t seem to noticeable.

I use this in connection with my 2g ipod nano , Dell XPS 1530 laptop (with Sony Transmitter), and Palm Centro.

At home where my room is quiet, the phone function is nice. I can be listening to music on my dell, but answer the phone via my centro if a call were to come thru.

I work late at night, this headset is great for keeping my ears warm. And I don’t need to take em off if I walk to the kitchen.

I also use them when going to the laundromat. So nice to be wireless.

4 Stars high quality design, but some static
I use the product as headphones only for use with my laptop. The quality of the sound at times is perfect, but occasionally, the music program or movie needs to be paused and then continued in order to remove distortion that builds up.

The battery life is unbelievable. I use them at least 3 hours a day and have only charged them fully maybe 3x’s. A USB charging cable would have been nice, but the battery life is so long, I am surprising myself not to mind the dedicated charger.

As for comfort, they are pretty good. After a few hours of wear, the bottoms of my earlobes do feel a pinch, but it is not significant.

3 Stars Support Structure
I have no first hand knowledge of this product, however I own the LG version and they share the same ear supports and neck banding. Only the speakers themselves appear different. So I’d like to send a warning. I’m on my second set in four months and both sets have cracked in the exact same spot. Where the ear support arc feeds into the arm there is an open slit which exposes the wire and weakens structural integrity. Both pairs cracked at the end of this slot on the right side just before the pivot. I wouldn’t speak out against a product I haven’t used, but I am familiar with the support structure.

5 Stars 3 Months and No Problems. Best I’ve Owned
These are the best bluetooth headphones I have owned. I don’t like using them for phone calls however. I have not had the same issue with breakage and I am quite rough with mine. I use them all the time in the gym and have had no issues with wetness causing problems. I wear mine for about two hours at a time and they don’t get heavy for me and I have small ears. I use mine with a Verizon VX8550 Chocolate and get VERY good base and no hissing or popping. I also use it with an HP 110 classic pocket pc. BUT: On the PPC, you have to go into the registry and change the bluetooth settings or you will get popping and hissing (google WM6 crackling). Once you do that, these phones produce great base and treble with no hissing or popping. Also recommend for PPC users the SRS WOW plugin (google it).

4 Stars Love the headset but too fragile
I’ve had this headset for about 2 months. The audio quality is great for over the ear headphones, especially considering it’s bluetooth and stereo technology devices for BT are pretty new. I wear it on my bike and on the shuttle to work and have loved every minute of having them. Very good product!

My one complaint is that they’re a bit brittle near the ear-piece. I was cleaning one day and felt a sharp pain behind my ear, like a bee had crawled in the headset. I pulled them off and noticed a crack in the support near where the soft behind-the-ear piece ends. It’s an obvious design flaw that should be addressed, in my opinion.

4 Stars Blue Magic
This is a decent bluetooth headset very secure on the ears works well when I am in the gym, or runnung on the trail. Good sound however not as crisp as my motorola HT820. Also I had problems answering phone calls through the headset sometimes. Overall these headphones are a good value if you are looking to do a lot of activities outdoors. If you are looking for high sound quality like in Sony you wont find it here.

2 Stars Mine quickly broke
I loved these until, after I had them for about a month, I discovered that they had broken, exactly where others reported them broken, near the right earphone. The bluetooth worked well after I changed the settings on my Centro a bit, and they were reasonably comfortable on the 7-mile jogs I went on. I have no clue why they broke; there were no symptoms of weakness that I noticed. Now they still work, though I would have to hold the right earpiece to my ear.

This is disappointing,and I’m not sure what to do next. I am doubtful that I will be able to find another decently priced jogging bluetooth set that meets my requirements. Darn! I gave them two stars because they seemed so wonderful while they lasted. I am used to more durable consumer goods; another cheap pair of headphones have stayed intact thru everything but being run over by a tank. Even the packaging the set came in seemed more durable then they did.

1 Star Microphone low gain – not loud enough
The microphone gain on these is very low. You will have to yell for the other end to hear you! They are also not great if you plan on using them during active workouts since they are a bit too heavy to stay on the ear. THEY DON’T USE A STANDARD USB connector to charge! I HATE that – yet another cable to carry around. Forget about it!

Look at the Kensington bluetooth stereo headphones with microphone to solve both problems. Don’t buy the Motorola ROKR S9 – they are flawed and will break! I had to return two sets.

2 Stars IOGEAR…Not so good
If its a calm place and you are not moving much then this device works gr8. But when you go out it totally fails you. Even if there is no wind, the music or the voice always gets stuck.

Not at all good for outdoor use and pretty disappointed with it.

It works great with both computer and phone, if you are inside the house

4 Stars Cant go wrong with wireless
For Starters i Like to weight train, so im usually in the gym. i compared these headphones to alot of other wireless headphones before purchasing them. i found that they were very convinent and lightweight and got the job done. i have no complaints, just dont lose the transmitter like i did.

3 Stars good, not great
These headphones do everything I want, but just barely. The sound is just barely good enough, as is the reception.

What I like: the controls work well, pairing is easy, and they are fairly comfortable.

What I don’t like: Reception could be better. They barely work when my phone is in my pocket, and the reception on my computer works for most, but not all of my small place. Sound is not as good as Sony wired headphones costing half the price.

4 Stars excellent product
Despite some reviews that I’d read I decided to give these a try. The sound is great, only noticed a little less clarity then compared to standard headphones.

4 Stars Pretty good
This unit, when used with the Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod, works well. The sound is great!

That said, the reason I gave it a four star rating is that the headpiece is pretty flimsy. As I work in construction, we will see how long they will last. I just keep them around my neck when not using them.

I have not had any problems with static during silent portions of music as another poster has mentioned.

There is one other thing that bothers me a bit. If I have the music on pause for about 5 min. the unit shuts off, and I have to pair it up again. This is, I assume, a power saving function. It would be better if the unit remembered the last bluetooth device it was attached to, so that I would not have to pair it up every time.

All in all, I would recommend it for use with the Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod.

3 Stars Great headphones… while they last.
I owned these headphones from April through July of this year. They had excellent reception, clear audio, and a great feature set. Then, after four months of use, they began to arbitrarily turn on and off, eventually reaching the point where I could no longer control them at all. Now they’re in the trash.

Don’t buy this product if you expect to use them every day, they wear out too easily.

5 Stars Excellent headphones
I bought these to replace my aging BlueAnt X5s. These Sonys are more comfortable, have better battery life and sound much better. Overall, a fantastic buy. Pair them with a skullcandy adapter, my laptop, my desktop and my phone, all work well. Passcode is the standard 0000, so will pair with almost any device.

Only gripe is the proprietary charger. Would have much preferred a usb mini connection.
