1 Star To be avoided
When it works, it works very well. Unfortunately, it seems to spend most of its time trying to pair with other Bluetooth devices (mobile phones?) resulting in numerous breaks in the music. Sat quietly with no-one near you it is excellent, but on a crowded train or walking down busy streets it is awful. The constant breaks in playback make it unusable. I know it’s not the Sony Bluetooth headset, because if I pair them to my phone or Mac I have no issues with breaks of service. Even on busy trains.

Another gripe is the battery; it lasts about 6 hours, but is very poor at keeping the charge. If you don’t use it for a few days you will need to charge it up again as the battery will be flat. And yes, I always turn the unit off when I have finished with it – the battery just runs down.

1 Star iPod Connectivity
The Jabra A125s IPod bluetooth adapter is easy to set up and connect. The bluetooth connection is great unless you plan to keep the unit in your pocket. There are many glitches and cuts in the music in that case. Also, it does not seem to work very well with wind. I purchased this product for the freedom to exercise and ride my bicycle without wires. Unfortunately, the product does not work very well for that purpose. The breaks in the music is maddening. It works best resting on a surface next to the bluetooth speakers or headset.

Very nice, works as advertised. I use it with my iPod mini and touch withbout any problems.

1 Star Doesn’t work with older 40g ipod
Although the directions state “works with all ipods 4g and later” It doesn’t work with my old 40g ipod at all. It did work with a friends older 20g ipod with click wheel. I didnt try it out at the gym though, so i can’t comment on the other review of it becoming disconnected easily. I called motorola, poor customer service, it took 5 phone calls to finally get though to a tech, who said it should work with my ipod and to return it. So if you have an older ipod do not buy this product.

1 Star Can I Give it Zero Stars? This thing is useless.
The design of this device is severely flawed. It disconnects extremely easily (try a slight bump, even inside a case) when doing anything even remotely active. Mine came as part of the iPod/S9 “Active” adapter kit…and it is so completely worthless that I am returning it.

Every time the d650 gets bumped or has pressure put on it (such as when bending over with it inside a case clipped to my waist) it disconnects from the iPod, loses power, and then has to be re-paired with the headset…which requires that you monitor a colored light on the headset…which requires that you take it off.

Every ten or so time it pairs with the headset it requires that you pause and unpause the iPod, which requires that you remove it from whatever case you’re using to do something active with it, and putting back in the case can provide enough force to dislodge the d650 and start all over.

In short, it’s going back.

2 Stars It works for a short period of time
I purchased this adapter to work with my R.E.D. snowboarding helmet and it works very well, until it sucks your battery dry. The battery of the iPod Nano should last ~24 hours under normal use and when powering this device it lasts only 5 hours! I need this to work for at least 8 hours straight. I would use this on the hill and have it die half way through the day. I’m trying a self powered adapter now…

It also separates from the Nano easily. I ended up using a hair tie to keep it connected. I’m not sure if it’s related but I would occasionally get a “skipping/cutting out” with the music.
